Frequently Asked Questions

Your teen must be at least 15 years old to begin Teen Driver's Education in Texas.

The 24-hour classroom component typically takes 4-8 weeks. Behind-the-wheel (14 hours) is scheduled separately and usually takes several more weeks.

We are a DPS-authorized skills test site, so your teen has the option to take their road test right here at our facility — no separate DPS office visit needed. Students may also choose to test at any DPS location.

A school enrollment verification (TEA VOE), birth certificate or ID, and parent signature for students under 18.

Yes, we offer a state-approved online classroom option. The 14 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction must still be with a certified instructor.
